Arctic Monkeys es una banda inglesa de rock formada en 2002 en High Green, un suburbio de Sheffield, ciudad metropolitana de South Yorkshire, Inglaterra. El grupo está integrado por Alex Turner (voz y guitarrista principal), Jamie Cook (guitarrista), Nick O'Malley (bajo) y Matt Helders (baterista). Andy Nicholson (bajo), ex miembro de Arctic Monkeys, dejó la banda en 2006, poco después de que su álbum debut fue lanzado.
Ellos han lanzado cinco álbumes de estudio: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006), Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007), Humbug (2009), Suck It and See (2011) and AM (2013), además de un álbum en vivo, At the Apollo (2008). Su álbum debut es el más rápidamente vendido álbum debut por una banda en la historia de las listas británicas, también, Rolling Stone lo rankeó como el trigésimo más grande álbum debut de todos los tiempos.
